    An installation of Schuco bifolding doors in Stoneleigh, Surrey also combined with the latest generation Atlas lantern roof and Aluk aluminium windows.

    Our installation comprises new windows, lantern roof and bifolding doors to a residential property with a recently constructed rear extension.

    Powder coated in RAL 9005 black, our top-of-the-line Schuco bifolding doors come with thin door mullions, contemporary hardware and a three panel design.  The main door handle operates a five-point multi-point lock with separate high security cylinder escutcheon. In order to provide maximum functionality, the doors feature a traffic door, hinged on the central panel and swinging out.  This allows the doors to be used during the day as a regular traffic door. At the same time, this traffic door comes into it’s own especially where these are the only rear doors leading out to the garden.

This semi-detached property has been extensively renovated, with a loft conversion and afterwards with a new extension at the back of the house.  The new extension at the rear features a modern kitchen extension and also an extension to the living space.

    Another installation by Aspire Bifolds of grey Schuco bifold doors, with a contemporary lantern roof above. These products supplied and fitted at the same time to a newly built extension.

    Slimline, German engineered Schuco bifold doors, add style and value to any new extension. Not only are Schuco bifold doors one of the slimmest on the market, but also one of the best designed and executed.

    Importantly, Schuco bifolds enhance this new extension with a cutting-edge and very modern looking bifold door.  Firstly the door profiles are flat in appearance, therefore giving a modern aesthetic to the overall look of the doors.  In addition, Schuco doors feature thin sight lines where the closed door panels meet.  Specifically, these doors are just 121mm meaning they are one of the thinnest in our range of aluminium bifolding doors.

They open out, ensuring they don’t take up space on the inside of the property.  There is also a traffic door fitted.  A traffic door is particularly useful on a bifold door and especially where a bifold is the only door with access to the garden. A traffic door works just like a regular hinged door.  On this particular door, the lead door hinges on the next door leaf.  Therefore, the fully opened doors neatly stack on the right-hand side. The benefit is a large clear door opening.

    The house is presently undergoing a major renovation, to which Aspire supplied and fitted A-Rated Liniar PVCu windows. Also provided to the property is a contemporary aluminium lantern roof.

    First of all, these new PVCu windows in Worcester Park are the latest multi-chamber windows, therefore giving excellent window energy ratings. Using multi-chamber frames and the quality glass units, provides a thermally efficient window. Consequently, thermally efficient windows also help to reduce heating bill.  Multiple window chambers are a great feature of modern PVCu windows.  No need for additional reinforcement as the chambers provide strength to the window profiles as well.

    Liniar windows are British designed, created specifically for the UK market.  As well as the PVCu windows in Worcester Park supplied here, the entire range also comprises French doors, sash windows, conservatory systems and much more.  Furthermore, Liniar also provides a range of matching trims and accessories.

    We supplied and fitted a range of PVCu casement windows with dummy sashes. Using dummy sashes provides consistent sight lines throughout the entire window, whether the elements are fixed or opening.

    These new  PVCu windows in Worcester Park also have egress hinges to the first floor, therefore providing safety in the event of a fire. The glass comprises leaded units with warm edge spacer bars, low-emissivity coating and an argon gas fill. Bathroom windows have the same glass specification with obscure glass, providing privacy.

    Finally, all these windows come with locking handles, operating the secure multi-point locks.  Additionally, there are new window cills./  Internally we finish off the installation with architraves and window boards.

  • Redhill, Origin doors and lantern roof

    A Redhill property improved with a new aluminium lantern roof, Origin bifolding doors, Origin French Doors and a new composite front door.

    Our door installation replaces the existing doors at the back of this house.  Installed is a four panel set of bifolding doors, opening outwards and with all panels sliding and folding to the right, viewed from the outside.  This particular door set is opened from the inside only. The doors have a contrasting colour to the door hardware, in brushed satin stainless steel.

    Next to the bifolding doors is a set of French doors, also opening outwards, with a left-hand lead leaf also with contrasting stainless steel hardware.

    Both sets of doors are fitted with integral glass blinds in a silver colour to create a picture frame detail. The integral blinds provide privacy and shade without after-market curtains or blinds. They won’t gather dust, ever need cleaning or blow in the wind. All integral blinds are hermetically sealed within the glass units.

    The doors are polyester powder coated grey RAL 7021.

    Also fitted to this home is a white contemporary Atlas lantern roof. It has slimline glazing bars, toughened glass units and brings light into the home from above.

    Finally, a new composite front door in a black finish with contrasting chrome hardware completes the installation.

    Our work involved the supply and installation of a contemporary lantern roof, fitted to a newly created opening within an existing extension.  The roof is an impressive 4.5 metres long and 2.1 metres wide, manufactured from the contemporary and market-leading Atlas system.
